Our aerospace rapid response machining cell is housed within a dedicated factory facility, optimised for last minute, quick, rapid response and just in time machining requirements. Typically suitable for high technology customers operating tight engineering & manufacturing deadlines, such as Formula 1 teams, airline component manufacture, aviation engineering companies, satellite manufacture & aerospace engineering companies, our aerospace rapid response machining cell leaves no room for error.
CAD/CAM & Aerospace Rapid Response Machining
Our CAD team activate immediately upon receipt of an order or schedule, and work closely with the customer from the earliest outset in order to export an accurate STEP file from the customer’s CAD software. The STEP file is worked into an accurate CAD model and checked for dimensional accuracy, material tolerance and component integrity. The result is an aerospace rapid response machining CAD model sporting the strongest component integrity, suitable for high tolerance, precision machining.
Production Control & Aerospace Rapid Response Machining
Production control & production engineering are 3 dimensional processes in themselves, looking at the leanest manufacturing outcome, machined within the shortest period of time, machined to the highest integrity possible and delivered on-time to the customer. A high quality component, manufactured using lean manufacturing principles. Di-Spark run a dedicated production control office implementing live data screens covering each manufacturing cell – including our aerospace rapid response machining capability.
QMS & Aerospace Rapid Response Machining
Fully managed via our quality management system, the aerospace rapid response machining process is monitored throughout. Our AS9100 revision C certification and guidelines from our SC21 supply chain improvement membership assist operations towards efficiency and minimising waste, maintaining a high quality manufactured product, high-end inspection and timely delivery for the customer.
