Di-Spark Ltd Quick Response Milling
Quick Response Milling Video
It is a long-standing philosophy and part and parcel of our overall business strategy at Di-Spark Ltd, to perpetually invest in new and innovative machining processes. Milling & turning is a widely used term, but in the case of Di-Spark Ltd quick response milling means one-hit, CNC, automated milling and turning, with multi-operation CNC programming, around the clock operation with night staff and remote monitoring. Investing in the latest high performance, quick response milling and turning equipment has given Di-Spark the ability to manufacture complex precision components, using traditional and exotic materials, by applying the principles of contemporary one-hit machining.
Multi-operation Automated (CNC) Quick Response Milling
Evolving from an EDM tool making company in the 70’s and early 80s, Di-Spark – always with a keen eye on market conditions, noticed the resurgence of traditional machining processes with CNC control and increasing levels of automation. Initiating a constant-investment programme, Di-Spark developed independent machining cells – each housing a specialised machining process. Quick response milling is operated from our rapid response 5 axis machining and mill-turn machining cell – housing multiple machines, each capable of multi-operation complex geometric machining via a single set-up by use of robotic arm automated tool change capability with advanced CNC control.
World-Class Quick Response Milling
Our quick response milling division provides world-class customer service through a rapid response CAD to CAM service, quality control management (QMS), high-tech inspection facilities, timely deliveries and full certification such as SC21 and AS9100c, all at a competitive price. Di-Spark achieve these goals by employing highly skilled and motivated staff, using the latest state-of-the-art machinery, constantly reviewing production, machining and QMS processes and working tirelessly within supply chain guidelines. Our quick response milling cell is sited in a much smaller workspace than would be required for ‘old style’ conventional milling and turning methods – and to much higher degrees of accuracy and finish.
